Apple releases new versions of iOS with some frequency, and these updates usually include fixes to existing problems, as well as new features.
Any new iOS update is identified with a red circle on your Settings app. If the app doesn’t load directly to the Software Update page when you tap it, then you can navigate there manually by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

- Open Settings.

- Select About.
- Find your iOS version next to Software Version.
